I moved into 'The Ronda House' shortly after Christmas in 2005. Matt was out of town visiting family for the holidays and returned to find a new roommate. Matt invited me to a New Year's Eve party and on the way there he starting talking about running a marathon in honor of his dear friend, Angel, who was dying of breast cancer. I mentioned that I always wanted to run a marathon and we started training for the Rock N Roll Marathon of San Diego. After many long runs together; therefore many long talks together, we went on our first date. It was Madri Gras in the Gaslamp downtown on Feb. 28, 2006. Within the next seven months we managed to buy a house and get married. Almost two years after our first date, we welcomed Jayden Jacob Thomas to our family. Things are good.
